The MSD5019 is a highly integrated, low-cost and high performance SoC for cable, satellite, terrestrial
standard-definition STB (Set-Top Box) applications with conditional access (CA). It is configured with DVB-C
demodulator and DVB-T demodulator, single smartcard interface, a multi-format audio and video decoder which
is capable of decoding MPEG-2. It also has a digital video encoder of supporting CVBS, S-Video, YPbPr output.

security information in a CA system. It provides a secure boot loader which includes a programmable OTP ROMand a hardware-controlled key management unit that can fulfill the requirements from different CA systems.
