The MSD7801 is a highly integrated, low-cost and high performance SoC for high-definition STB (Set-Top Box)
applications. It is configured with DVB-C, DVB-T demodulator, a multi-format audio and video decoder which is
capable of decoding MPEG-1/2/4, H.264 (ISO/IEC 14496-10), VC-1. It has a digital video encoder of supporting
CVBS, S-Video, YPbPr output. For digital output, the MSD7801 also has a built-in HDMI 1.4a transmitter.
For multimedia applications, the MSD7801 includes one USB 2.0 host controller, making it possible for the
modern multimedia applications.
