Designed based on ADI ADL6317 auxiliary radio frequency (RF) gain gain (VGA) solution

2021-08-16 Views:0

ADL6317 is a transmit variable gain amplifier (VGA) that provides an interface from a radio frequency digital-to-analog converter (RF DAC), transceiver, and system-on-chip (SoC) to the power amplifier. Integrated baluns and hybrid couplers enable high-performance RF functionality from 1500 MHz to 3000 MHz.

To optimize performance and power levels, the ADL6317 includes a voltage variable attenuator (VVA), high linearity amplifier, and a digital step attenuator (DSA). All devices integrated in the ADL6317 are programmable through the 4-wire serial port interface (SPI).

ADL6317 is manufactured using advanced silicon germanium (SiGe), bipolar complementary metal oxide semiconductor (BiCMOS) process.
